Workshop Details

We are excited to announce the dates and location for the next in-person INARCH Workshop (by invitation only).  This will be held October 9–11, 2023 in Stanley, Idaho, USA at the Mountain Village Resort (https://www.mountainvillage.com/).  Professor James McNamara and Dr. Andrew Hedrick will be our 2023 workshop hosts.  We have opened a formal registration system for this workshop; email chris.debeer@usask.ca if you would like to join us.  A tentative schedule is as follows:

  • Sunday October 8
    • Check-in, lodging in Boise, Idaho
  • Monday October 9
    • Morning tour to a local experimental watershed (Dry Creek)
    • Lunch
    • Afternoon drive to Stanley, Idaho
    • Dinner provided
  • Tuesday October 10
    • All day scientific meetings, poster sessions, and group meals
  • Wednesday October 11
    • Half day scientific meeting
    • Lunch and recreation at  Redfish Lake Lodge
    • Drive to Boise, return by 6:00 pm
  • Thursday October 12
    • Participants depart, OR
    • Optional full-day Reynolds Creek Experimental Watershed in the Owyhee mountains (8 AM to 6 PM).

Participants will cover their own accommodation in Boise; the recommended hotel is the Grove Hotel. This will be a great chance to get together again after our successful 2022 Workshop in Spain and to catch up on activities and INARCH science, particularly our Common Observation Period Experiment (COPE).
