How to reach Lleida:

By Air

Barcelona-El Prat Airport and Madrid-Barajas Airport are two major international airports close to Lleida. From each airport you can either travel by train or bus to Lleida.

From Barcelona-El Prat airport to Lleida

by train:

Take the R2 Nord train from the airport railway station situated at Terminal 2 to go directly to Barcelona-Sants station. Click here for the time schedule from Barcelona-el Prat airport to Barcelona-Sants station
Once at Barcelona-Sants station, take an AVE or AVANT train to Lleida-Pirineus station. To consult the train schedule from Barcelona-Sants to LLeida, and buy your ticket online go to Renfe.com. Make sure to set your query to ‘one-way ticket only’

by bus:
There is a direct bus connection from Barcelona-El Prat airport to Lleida with ALSA which takes about 3 hrs. To consult the bus schedule and buy your ticket online go to the ALSA website. Click in the “point of departure’ box and choose Barcelona Airport-Prat T1.

From Madrid-Barajas airport to Lleida

by train:

Take Line C1 or C10 train from Madrid Airport located at terminal 4 to Madrid-Atocha station. More information about Madrid airport Train can be found here.

Lleida (province)

Lleida is located in northeast Spain in the interior of the region of Catalonia. The province has some valuable Catalan Romanesque churches in the Vall de Boi, awarded the World Heritage designation by the UNESCO. Lleida is well known for its natural beauty and for being an excellent place for all sorts of mountain sports such as skiing, MTB and trekking. Areas of particular interest include the Aigüestortes y Estany de Sant Maurici National Park, its two nature reserves, and its Pyrenean and pre-Pyrenean landscapes.
